Shaumyan, Head of the Institute of Foreign Policy of the Russian Academy of Sciences. In her report "India's Foreign Policy: from the forecasts of the 1980s to the realities of the 2000s", she analyzed how the forecast of India's foreign policy development in the mid-1980s correlates with the realities of today, to what extent, on what specific points it was justified, and to what extent the methodology of its preparation can be used to forecast the foreign policy India's development strategy for the coming decades.

S. I. Lunev (IMEMO) in his report "India's foreign policy and the impact of internal factors on it" noted that internal factors affect the implementation of three main groups of national interests of the country - "functional" (ensuring positive internal functioning), "co-existential" (ensuring a significant role in the international environment) and " existential "(ensuring the country's security).

Svinarchuk's speech "The role of the North-East of India in shaping Indian policy in the Bay of Bengal countries". To turn the Northeast into a land bridge connecting India and the ASEAN countries through the Bay of Bengal, it is necessary first of all to develop the region itself and solve such problems as economic backwardness, separatism, organized criminal groups, and corruption.
