Christmas and remembrance of ancestors
Christmas and Remembrance of Ancestors: The Synthesis of the Christian Festival and the Ancient Cult of the Dead The connection between Christmas and the remembrance of ancestors at first glance seems paradoxical: the festival of the birth of the Savior, symbolizing the beginning of new life, is associated with the memory of those who have passed away.
